My Bio

I’m Laura and I’m doing the film and TV course at Hillsborough College. I was born and grew up in Sheffield and my goal is to take Hendos international. Back in the day I watched the hunger games and for the first time experienced the power of escapism in film. Since then I’ve loved watching films and have been interested in how they are made. Even though the idea was sparked by Katniss Everdeen, as I got older I got more passionate about film and decided that’s what I wanted to try to go into. So after my GCSEs i decided to do a course at college in Film and TV, since starting the course i’ve realised my passion for film even more and have learnt alot about the process of actually making films. The part of filmmaking that i enjoy most is the filming and editing, which i got to properly try out for the first time in college (the work i’ve done so far can be found on my youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq6oDtZDZjtlPg4U2nn9KaA). I plan to go as far as I can in film and see where it takes me (I can always get a job in tesco if it fails).

Different WordPress themes

• I like this theme because it looks very clean and professional, also it is quite simple and not too over the top which I like.

My site’s audience

My site’s audience will be mostly just my tutors and the EV, however it might be useful to use as a portfolio and show it to unis or potential employers to demonstrate my work. Also the public will have access to it so i need to take that into account when thinking about content. The audience will affect my design features and content because i will have to make sure it is professional and appropriate, so that i do not come across as unprofessional which will harm my chances of getting into uni or getting employed.
