Cover Letters

https://www.themuse.com/advice/how-to-write-a-cover-letter-31-tips-you-need-to-know

The main points of this article is to make the cover letter about what you can do for the company and not what they can do for you. Also they say to make it personal by addressing it to the correct person and making sure to involve details about the company, so that they know it isn’t a generic cover letter and that you have interest in the company and the job.

https://www.prospects.ac.uk/careers-advice/cvs-and-cover-letters/cover-letters

The main points of this article is that you should make your cover letter clear and to the point, they don’t want loads of information about you. That’s what a CV is, in a cover letter they just want to know why you would be a good fit for the company and the job. Also make sure to show off your knowledge of the company to emphasise your interest in the position.

In order to write a good cover letter you should make yourself sound keen for the position and present yourself in a way that makes you seem interested and eager. Also you should take into account what they are looking for in a person to take up the job and make sure you have demonstrated yourself to be the right kind of person.

Conclusion

In conclusion I have learnt that in order to create a strong application you must have and eye catching CV, a creative and interesting showreel and an informative and keen cover letter.
