Equipment List
The Equipment I will need to complete my ad is:
- Two Lav Mics
- Camera
- Tripod
- Marantz kit
- Clapper board
Location Recce
Potential Location – description | Photograph of the location | Google map | Suitability |
My house, in the kitchen. | This location is very suitable because my ad takes place in a kitchen and this will be my kitchen so I will be in control of the space and will have access to everything I need.
Access Issues | |||
There won’t be any access issues because it is in my house so I can use it whenever I want. I will make sure my family doesnt come into the kitchen whilst filming so that I don’t get interrupted.
Lighting Issues | |||
I will be using the natural lighting from the windows and the lights on the ceiling. This might be an issue because depending on the weather it could be raining so darker outside which would make the lighting worse. Also if the lights in the room are not bright enough then the ad will look dark and need lots of colour correction when editing. I will be able to solve this problem by shooting on a day with good weather and by using any lighting available in my house.
Sound Issues | |||
I should have too many sound issues because as long as I make sure my family is being quiet there won’t be much background noise meaning the audio I record of the characters voices should be clear. |

I will be shooting the whole of my ad in one day, if needed I will be doing re-shoots another day. |

Food preparation | Cast | H | L | L | In the Ad the actors will be preparing a cup of tea whilst being recorded, this will mean using boiling water. In order to make sure they are safe I will use cool water where possible and make sure people are cautious of what they are doing when hot water is around. |
